Hi everyone!:) I have edited and save a few shots from our last trip in PSE4. Is there any way to open up the saved/edited photo and "undo" some of the editing - like remove a frame or recrop - without starting from scratch? :confused3 I have the originals saved to start over with if needed, but was hoping there was a short cut! Also, can you open the edit history anywhere to see what you did to a particular photo - in case you want to repeat the process on others like it? Thanks for your help!
Blessings,
Marge

Did you save it as a JPG or a PSD/Adobe file? I think a PSD will retain a certain abount of actions you can undo- like 50 I think? Not 100% positive on that one. If you only saved as a JPG though I am pretty sure you will have to start over.

Thanks Gdad, that's what I thought. There are a few that were saved .psd, but most are in the .jpeg format. I was trying to add a few frames on some favorites for posting here, but when I went to load them to Costco to print, they were to big and the crop box ended up eating half of the frame on one side. My hope was I could go back and just delete the frame, then load back to Costco and add a black frame there. But it looks like I'll be starting from scratch. The blessing is I only worked on about a dozen or so before I thought about this! :goodvibes

Thanks again!
Blessings,

Realize that every time you resave a jpeg file you lose resolution. You may want to start from scratch. Everytime you save you are compressing, losing pixels.

If you think you will be reworking a picture you may want to save in .TIFF
