? re ordering in (pizza, etc) at SSR.

We will be staying at a GV SSR,next month.
Is there any place that you can call (on site or off) that would deliver pizza or some other kind of food?
Do they leave phone #s of outside places to call for delivery in the units?
Or does the resort itself have a place that delivers?

Can't offer any suggestions as to who to call. But if you get a flyer under your door, don't call them as it's probably a scam.

I'v ordered pizza hut at BC, BWV, FQ, and AK.. I am sure SSR would be fine too.

Flipper's delivers for $1 and has great online specials. Giordanos (great Chicago style deep dish delivers I believe but I am not sure.

We send DH over to Wolfgang Puck's Express to get pizza and salads.

I'd recommend Flipper's as well. I see that you're from NY, and as an NJ native who now lives in FL, Flipper's is probably the closest in the area that you will get "real" pizza. Just order it thin and crispy.

We've had Giordano's delivered to OKW. (Its a Chicago Pizza chain that has a location in Orlando)

Do not use the one that stuffs the flyers under the door. They are not suppose to do this and I would not trust them.

There is an info brochure near the phone warning about them. Some have had credit card problems using them.

Flippers and Giordano's are safe and Disney does offer in room pizza order for OKW and SSR, its not great pizza but not bad.

If you have a car we like the pizza at the Hess gas station at Downtown Disney. Not expensive and good pizza not gourmet by any means but its the favorite of the local police and sheriff officers so cant be all bad.

My sister, on the otherhand, moved to Jackson, NJ and it seems like it is a common thing to do

I figure you have to do what works for where you are.

We personally do not like Giordano's, too much sauce and too thick.
