They didn't get as far as doing the MRI because they discovered that he has prostate cancer which has metastasized to his bones. My poor baby.

I am so sorry, it is never easy getting bad news like that. Did the doctor give you medication to help with his comfort? I remember when our Grover was dxed with a tumor in his spleen...he ate like a king (hamburgers everyday!) I just wanted him to be comfortable and we really tried to enjoy his last days with us.

I'm afraid he is beyond that point. He has been on pain killers, anti-inflamatories, and Prednisone. Nothing has helped him. He is in so much pain. This morning he fell over and couldn't get up. It was heartbreaking. He's such a sweet boy.
