Re: Motion Sickness, How does Star Tours compare to a rollercoaster?

The whole pumping blood thing made her sick. I think it was not necesarily the motion, but the idea that she was in a body.

It's funny, but I am pretty sure that is the exact aspect that my daughter is fascinated with... I just have to think about translating reluctance to sit through a motorboat ride into such rides as this one.

They don't stop the ride if a kid wants off, correct?

Do you recall how long the Body Wars ride was, by any chance?

The ride is about 5 minutes I think. It's kinda hard to keep track of time when you're on it.

Well someone sure as hell found it made them motion sick last time I was on Star Tours...

Luckily the seat directly infront of them had a broken seatbelt and nobody was sitting there.

Personally, I don't get motion sickness at all, so I can't comment.

I have no motion sickness problems but I can tell you one thing, Star Tours jerks you much more in the back seats than in the front , still with that , it's not that bad. Body Wars though is different, that one really jerks you around big time.
I don't have a problem going on anything , simulators, roller coasters, but ....wanna get a good laugh? Don't put me on the balloon race rides going backwards....I reaaaally get dizzy there! Go figure.
