? re: Heavenly Beds at Swan/Dolphin

Can anyone tell me what makes the Heavenly Beds so heavenly? Is there any goose down involved? I'm wondering, as we want to stay at Swan or Dolphin next year, but DS has asthma and can't be near anything made with down.

There is down "involved" ...in the comforters and pillows. That being said, we were at the Swan in January and DIl and grandson have allergies and erquested non-feather pillows and blankets which were promptly delivered by housekeeping. The heavenly mattresses have a "pillowtop", but it is not down.

I'm sure you could have it noted on your reservation and/or call the hotel in advance and talk to housekeeping.

Thanks, NHAnn - glad to hear you can make those requests. I'm just happy to know that the pillow top mattress has no down - that would have forced us to look elsewhere to stay, which would not have made me too happy, as we are really looking forward to trying a stay at this resort - and I'm hoping to be able to get the nurs discount, which will be a big help budgetwise !
