Hi There,
We are arriving tomorrow for 8 nts in a 1BR . This is our first visit to HH and cannot wait.
I spoke to the front desk yesterday, as I had a few questions for them regarding construction going on at the resort and about activities, and they told me what room we had. It is in the main lodge. I am surprised I was given the room # ahead of time.
I realize that nothing is definite until we check in. Our only requests were N/S, and marsh view, and understand there are no guarantees of anything.
My question is, are there only handicap accessible rooms in the main lodge?
We really don 't want one, but guess we will wait and see...
Thanks for any info.

There are HA rooms only in the main lodge (Bldg #11) and I think there's one HA rm in Bldg #12. In both cases, they're on the first floor (one floor up from the ground).

Not all the rooms in the lodge are handicapped accessible. It is only a couple of the studios and one bedrooms. Have a great trip!

I don't think the 1 bd rooms are as bad as the studios when it comes to HC. You still get the big tub and the toilet it huge.
