Hi

Just a short post to thank everyone for their help and advice on this topic (I posted a week or so ago, but cannot add to the original post because it causes a fatal error in Explorer when I try to open it :-( ).

I finally persuaded my husband to try something new (we have stayed at the Swan before and new that we would enjoy the Swan) and go for a proper Disney Resort (he - big kid - loved the Disney Magic cruise we did about 2 years ago... ;-)). So we have now booked 5 nights at the Yacht Club (water view room - bay view on request). I was VERY tempted by the Grand Floridian, but the Yacht Club is a little cheaper, we love the EPCOT location and I LOVE the look of SAB (great in the summer heat - hope it isn't completely crowded).

So I can see a fantastic 5 days at disney: lots of parks, lots of SAB, lots of good food, lots of mini-golf and some nice jogging around the bay :-)

Thanks again,
Boo

Since I hadn't even found this site a week ago I didn't get to help in your decision making process but I wanted to say that you couldn't have made a better choice! The YC is our all-time favorite resort!! It has a great Epcot location, Stormalong Bay is wonderful (beach bottom!) and large enough to accomodate a lot of people. All the rooms have mini-bars and queen beds. I would compare the difference between the YC and the BC to the Swan and Dolphin so if you like the Swan you will definitely enjoy the YC! My husband was ga-ga over the YC (we're originally from New England) and to this day it has been our best experience at WDW even though that was 6 years ago! We'd love to go back but there are more places to conquer!!:D
