? RE: Free Dining/Possible Sept. Code

Ok, calling all experts!!!!

I booked Free Dining at POP 9/12 - 9/16, one perferred room.

Last year we went to POP for Free Dining & I booked 2 connecting rooms, Hubby & I like our own room & the kids sleep in the other. It worked out well!!! Obviuosly we paid rack rate for each room.

At the same time we were there Disney (I think it was in August) released a general public code for around 65-70 a night.

I was thinking if they do that again this year, can I book a room with the discount & ask them to tie it to my exsiting FD ressie & request connecting rooms?????

I realized I paid rack rate for both rooms last year, when maybe this year I can pay rack rate w/ FD & make a separate ressie with a discount (obviously hoping this will happen again this year, no guarantee that they will even offer a code) & request that these 2 separate ressies connect (again realizing that there is no guarantee on connecting rooms).

Now I know there are a lot of "if's" in this scenario, just wandering what the possibilities are on making this happen, if they release a code.

Or should i just SUCK it up & book the 2 rooms now & pay rack rate.

Any & ALL advice will be greatly appreciated!!

No you cannot - the people listed on the second room would not have free dining - and you can not list the same people in 2 rooms

I just tried to do what you are asking about with a room I had reserved with the 40% discount...tried to book another room on a separate reservation w/free DDP thinking I could link the two rooms together later. Was told by the CM that I couldn't have two rooms reservations at the same time with the same occupants. I didn't even mention the other reservation when I called. I guess I'm not the Evil Genius I thought I was!

Thanks, I am glad I asked!! I did call tonight & I was able to add the 2nd room at POP & got FD on both rooms!!!

If I waited to execute my plan, I would have been screwed!!
