We just came back from a short trip and we met up with friends who are residents. They entered with us, then told us they would be right back and had to re-enter. I didn't understand what they were taking about, and we had fpp that I didn't want to miss so we made our way to Fantasyland. I didn't think to ask, but I am wondering if this is how they were able to get more FPP than us. Just curious because I didn't put it together at the time, but now it does make sense.

Yes. If people want to use two different sets of tickets to enter, it's allowed. Their tickets were linked to different MDE Profiles so it allowed them to pre-book FPs for each Profile.

Amazes me what people will do to Bend The rules
And I thought disney closed the loophole??

As long as the ticket is used to enter the park, they can use and enter the park as many times as they want to get those extra FP+. Doesn't seem fair in my book.

Agree with this. I certainly can't imagine it being worth the extra money to me as expensive as tickets are nowadays, but if they can and want to spend their money that way it's their choice.
Yep, can't imagine where this breaks any policies. Can't imagine having that much spare money around either. But sure would be nice. Though something tells me even if I had it, I wouldn't want to spend it on some extra rides at Disney

Who says they spent extra money? Disney gives away free tickets to groups of hospitality employees in the area

No matter what they paid for the tickets, they were worth a day of park entrance, so they are allowed to get fast passes. Since they already entered they are not actually getting that day's worth of entrance out of it, just the three fast passes, so they are not actually coming out ahead, admission-wise. They are giving up another day of entry. You could say they get 6 rides in 1 day for the price of six rides in 2 days.

Sort of like people can "park hop" without a hopping ticket if they buy a totally separate, new ticket (not just add a day) and use it for a second park. It is not financially a smart move, of course, but you could do it.

I think the loophole they closed was using old tickets or other people's tickets/ bands to get fp's even though the tickets weren't used as admission that day.

Buying more than one ticket to use each day is not a loop-hole. it just means that some people have a lot of extra money to waste!

That seems like a kind of random thing to assume applies to them though. Even if it didn't cost them money, it's still not bending the rules. It's a separate ticket.

It's not random. My point is there a several ways to get free Disney tickets so one shouldn't assume that they are spending money to get in. Regardless, if you have multiple tickets then your are not bending the rooms.

The loophole was people using FP for people who didn't enter the park that day. The OP is talking about people who used two separate tickets to enter the park. In effect, they paid twice. No loophole there.
