Re-entering EPCOT Int'l Gateway after 9:30

OK, I probably know the answer to this, but just need verification. If we were to park at EPCOT, spend the day there, walk through World Showcase and exit through International Gateway in order to spend the evening at Boardwalk...will we be out of luck trying to re-enter EPCOT from International Gateway if we get back there after EPCOT technically closes?

I'm assuming we can't and will have to find another way back to the EPCOT parking lot from Boardwalk (bus?)?

So I thought. Thanks.

I didn't know whether they made exceptions at the Gateway for those who parked in the main EPCOT parking lot. Oh well.

As far as I know, no one is allowed in the turnstiles after close, although they may make accommodations at the IG for people in your position. I'm sure it's not the first time it's happened. That's a good question, though.

After 9:30 I would say no, but before 9:30 especially in the 9:00-9:20 range you might be fine. Ask on your way out AT the Intl. Gateway and they might be able to be more specific about this.
Good luck!

We have seen people try to get in as we were leaving and they were being turned away. The people weren't too happy at the time.

It might be slightly longer but how about parking at MGM and walking to EPCOT from there....that way after enjoying the Boardwalk, you can walk back to the MGM parking lot?

Could you plan your visit to the BW during an Extra Magic Hours nighttime at Epcot. That way the park is open later.

Why don't you park at the Boardwalk, enter through the International Gateway, spend your day at Epcot, exit through the International Gateway and spend your evening at the Boardwalk. I would suggest that if the front lots of the self serve spots are pretty full, you go to the overflow area. You can also valet park your car at the Boardwalk. That might be worth it.

Technically, you are not supposed to park at a resort to visit a theme park.

You could park at Epcot while you are there and then move your car over to the BW when you want to dine there.

One time there were four of us (adults) leaving Epcot after Illuminations. (And it was soon after. Not like we dawdled for a long time.)
As soon as we left the front exit, we realized we had left our things in the locker we rented! :dance3: :sad2:
Security allowed only one of us to return to the locker to recover our items.
So judging by that, I would say entry into the park after it has closed is difficult, if not impossible.
