Re-assign (old) Magic Band?

Not sure where to post this so starting here! I have an OG Magic band, probably from a 2019 or 2020 visit. I’m heading to WDW in a few weeks with a friend who has never had a Magic band. Is it possible to reassign my band to her? I have a new one plus one other old one. If it’s possible, bonus points if you can tell me how to do it!

No. Once assigned a MB is not transferable. On rare occasions, a CM at the parks may reassign to a family member, but you can’t do it yourself nor do it over the phone.

If they don't want to buy a MB, they can get a hard card at the park or if they have, use a Apple Watch or iPhone.

You won't be able to re-assign your used magic band. But if you have an assigned magic band in MDE and it has not been used and you want to re-assign it someone else on your friends and family list, you can call Disney Magic Band people and they can re-assign it to another person. I was able to do this in May.
