Re activating resort mugs?

Hi guys, we usually get the dining plan but considering not doing so on our next trip which will be short. Has anyone ever reactivated a mug from a previous trip at a discounted price from purchasing a new one? Or been told they can't or that it's the same price?

Everything I've read here, from other posters, is that bringing back your old refillable mug will have no effect on price. If you're on DDP, the mug (whether old or new) is included in the DDP price and no discount or credit for using old mug. If you're paying OOP for refillable drinks, you will be charged current price (as if you bought a new mug) and no discount or credit for old mug.
