We will be going to wdw from 03/10 - 03/18 with six park days. For those that go on longer trips do you RD everyday?

Thank you :)

We generally go for 14 days, it's a long way from the UK. RD on first couple of days, then take it a bit easy. First full day has to be opening ceremony at MK.

As close to rope drop as we can, yes. Because we do mid day breaks and go to the pool then back to the parks at night

Almost every day we RD, mainly because we like doing mornings in the parks and we leave midday to go back to the resort to swim and rest, and then head back to the parks at night. There is maybe 1 day during our 8 day stay where we won't RD and just take it easy. On my 10 day trip last year, I was there for RD on all but 1 day. I am a morning person, so I enjoy waking up early and heading out to start the day before the parks open.

Yes, except this trip we have one resort only day planned. We like to do RD, leave around 1-2 for pool time, then sometimes return at night.

Yup. Park commando here and it is open to (almost) close every day. I'm gonna get my money's worth!

We have a 12 day trip, with 10 park days, scheduled for October. Right now our plan has us rope dropping 6 times with another PPO ADR. So, 7 times out of 10 we expect to hit RD. Two of the 3 times we are not hitting RD are Epcot days where we're letting the future world madness at rope drop subside. The other is our last park day.

I don't go on as long trips as the rest, 6 nights 7 days max but I'll answer. Not on purpose. I'm an early riser so if I'm up and had my coffee and breakfast and am in the mood, I'll do rope drop. I'm betting even on a short trip I never do it more than twice.

We do 10 park days each Oct, RD every day but not at an EMH park.

On adults only trips yes, with DD we pick a couple days to get to the parks with RD, (like three out of ten,) and sleep in the other mornings.

Yeah we'll have DS (7) and DD (5) and while DD has no problem waking up early. I'm worried that DS won't want to wake up early everyday but maybe the magic of disney will help with that.

We are early risers and we do RD daily. However, we generally are back in our room by 7 and have lights out at 9pm. It works for us. :) We might do fireworks one night.

We found that the wake up calls (when we were there it was Baymax) helped get DD (5 at the time) out of bed much easier!

I had a teenager with me last week and we only RD one of the 4 days. In the past I've RD almost everyday. I really enjoyed this trip and sleeping I. But we also stayed at the park until close... 1am/midnight every night.

Park hours have a big impact on if I RD every day. If parks are open late into the evening then I don't plan a RD if I plan to be there until close.

I am an AP holder this year and have been on 3 trips this year already with one more planned so that has changed my visiting. I use to be much more commando but now I it's a much slower pace. I've never spent the money on deluxe bc I've never spent time at the hotel. This August I'm doing 2 deluxe and plan to enjoy the hotel in the mornings.

Have fun.
