Does anyone know of any RCI resorts that allow one night stays in the North East region. I have some points that will expire at the end of May and I am looking to use them.

I'd go to dvcmember.com and poke around the RCI site...or call MS and they will help you.

You'll have to pay the $95 fee to book the one night with points...It might not be worth it to you.

Understood - just looking for a list of resorts that are available for 1 night.

I used the member web site and it is not accurate. I called member services and the made me list the resorts one at a time that I was interested in and the answer was always require a 1 week stay.

I asked them if they had a list that allowed 1 night stays and they said no. I would have to continue one at a time and they would check. After 5 or 6 resorts I gave up.

I told the CSR that they should update the list on the RCI link and she said it is not a site maintained by them so nothing could be done.

You can book nightly exchanges through RCI, there is a section in the World Passport Collection. We booked two nights last Summer near Atlantic City. The only hard part is finding availability,but f you can be flexible you will have better luck. Also ask about depositing soon to expire points into RCI. One cm told me I could deposit a partial amount of my points into RCI and they would be good until 7/13. The cm I spoke to earlier did not seem to know about this. Good luck.

You might be better off looking at the CC. With RCI the fees will likely be more by the time you pay the exchange fee and possibly pay a cleaning fee as well. There are a number of options for May for NE for 2 days at a time but I didn't cross reference to the DVC list. The CC gives you NY city and Stowe as options.
