RCI swap for October 2012, what are my chances?

I am an RCI weeks member with 47 TPU's. I have an ongoing search in place since September 2011 for a week in October 2012 with a check in date spanning 2 weeks. What are my chances of getting an exchange? We really want Villa's at Wilderness Lodge since we have 2 small girls and will be at the Magic Kingdom the most. The 7 month mark has not passed yet so I am still hopeful. How long should I wait before I resort to plan B?

What are you trading? I also find when I call RCI directly a few times a day I end up getting what I want or there abouts....I believe calling definately helps more than an ongoing search. Good luck and let us know what you are trading.

Hi.. RCI has not deposited past September as of this week.

47 might also not be quite enough for a larger unit. We don't know what October valuations look like yet. In summer, you'd only get a studio. In hurricane season, you'd do better. October will probably be between them.

I combined two weeks, one was getting ready to expire. That gave me a total of the 47 TPU's. My home RCI condo is in south Africa - where I really want to go some day when the kids get bigger. Thanks for the phone call info.

I doubt 47 will get you a 2 BR, it might or might not get a 1 BR. However, there is likely to be availability. If you have something else you can deposit , you're chances would be higher and worth the additional $99 fee to combine again.

I just used 45RCI points to get a 2bedroom at Boardwalk Villas for 9/2-9/9. I haven't seen anything for oct come avail yet.

On top of the ongoing search (I am not sure they always work) I would check once or twice a day on my own.
