RCI Suggestions for Oregon or Washington

Does anyone have any suggestions for RCI resorts in either Oregon or Washington? We ended up not using a few DVC points and so we transfered them to RCI. Now we are trying to find a local RCI resort to use them at. I have to say, so far I haven't found the use of RCI points to be very appealing. It seems that DVC members are given a limited selection of RCI resorts and I still don't understand the details of how to make RCI reservations (it seems that regardless of what I do, I'll be on a waiting list). Thanks for input on resorts.
