Okay, new to this, currently in the process of closing on a new contract at BLT but had a question about the RCI network. I've read several times that trading points with RCI is not a good use of points and I don't understand why. What am I missing? For us to stay in a one bedroom at BLT for seven nights would be 270 points but to stay at a RCI resort it would only cost 160 points. I know there is a $95 transfer charge but that seems pretty minor when we could save 110 points. Is there an issue with the quality of the resorts in the RCI network? Or are they just difficult to reserve? Please help me understand what I'm missing. Thanks in advance.
