Rci/interval

anyone have any experience using Rci and/or interval at a Disney resort? I have read that it is possible but know nothing about it. My in-laws are offering up points if it is possible to use. Any insight would be appreciated.

I believe that they have to trade into the DVC RCI available rooms. They can see availability through their RCI account.

We went one year through RCI and booked a trip 6 weeks out. I think we were extremely lucky. We booked a 1 BR Boardwalk villa. It was awesome!!

if you are looking to trade into Disney thru RCI you most likely will have very limited choices, like Saratoga and maybe OKW. You definitely won't get a 2 bedroom. Right now the trade is for January and February at SSR. Hope that helps.

Years ago you could trade with Interval but now I believe it's only RCI.

We got one trade in with Interval before they sold their contract to RCI and had easy availability at Saratoga. We were hooked and finally gave up on Interval ever getting their Disney contract back and bought DVC this year. It's definitely worth a shot!

RCI deposits tend to be Saratoga 1BRs. There are rare sightings of other resorts, but they're also largely 1BRs.

We just matched tonight with a 1 bedroom at SSR. I'm thrilled, it's free for us and on Disney property! It's for the end of February and we have had the search set up since April.
