I was going to send DH on a intro to hang gliding weekend for fathers day/our anniversary, but he is having some minor surgury so his trip will have to be postponed until he is well. I was thinking of getting him a really nice RC car in the mean time, but I know nothing about them despite googling. I find that the disney people give me the best advice so I'm asking here.
What is a good RC car for my dh that can be driven in our back yard and in the house. The back yard is mostly flat with genrally small hill/valley areas and tree roots, though not huge roots.
I would like at least the car/truck/buggy to have a rechargeable battery pack even if i have to buy it separately. I don't want a gas powered one. I got him one once and he never used it specifically because it wasn't battery powered and so was "too much maintenance." I think he would enjoy sitting on the back deck and driving it around and our son could go collect it for him if dad crashes when he is recovering from his surgury.
I'd like to keep it under 150$ or less, but would spend a bit more if it got me something that was really worth the extra money, but if there is something that fits what I'm looking for less I'm all for it!
Thanks for any help! appreciate it!
