So we've already spent an afternoon experiencing Magic in the Kingdom and an evening of Magic at the California grill. What do we do from here? We go back for seconds!
This was our second day in the Kingdom. We got a bit of a later start than I wanted, but I took mercy on my DF who needed to sleep. No biggie! I got breakfast in a very crowded food court, and wake her up. We then go BACK to the food court for breakfast for her. Still ridiculously crouded. We head in to the kingdom and pick up fast passes to ride Splash Mountain, DF is scared to go on it, but said she'd do it for me... She loves RnR though...
While waiting for our ride time, we hit PotC and the Jungle Cruise... what a beautiful day! We ride Splash and have a blast! DF isn't scared anymore! We meet Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit, and head out. I hate the corner of the park where SM and BTMRR are ... it gets so packed and people don't seem to give a darn about anyone. We head over towards Tomorrowland, and who do we see? STITCH! We got our picture with him of course, and hop into the Buzz line. Had a blast, as usual! We had a PS for Tony's for later on, so we were just looking for little things to do beforehand. We head over to ToonTown for some pictures in County Bounty and The Judge's Tent. Met Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Max and Minnie. We decide to ride the railroad. We ride it all the way around, past Main St. back to Toon Town and stay on again til Main Street. We get off and I IMMEDIATELY geek out... I yell OH MY GOD IT's LAUNCH PAD! WE NEED TO GET A PICTURE! So my fiancee dutifully obliges. We get a few other shots with Terk and Gideon, and it's time for dinner!
Our dinner at Tony's was great. We had a bit of a wait, even though we had PS and there were some obnoxious large parties in the waiting area. Maria enjoyed her salad and I had the Minestrone, which was great. We each had Spaghetti and Meatballs for dinner, and neither of us could finish. Great Pasta if you're in the right mood for it - kind of like when you love real Pizza from a neighborhood place but sometimes you get the craving for Domino's or Pizza Hut...
Our waiter was great and I drank about 6 lemonades
They had a spectro at 9 and 11, with Wishes at 10, so we did some Fantasyland rides and The Haunted Mansion while the 9:00 Spectro was going on. We had a great spot to watch Wishes and then we got Primo spots for Spectro right on the curb in front of Casey's Corner. Nothing like watching Spectro with a big popcorn bucket and an icy diet coke
