OP, Just rearrange the time of your visit. Once it gets hot, the gulls head back to the coasts. They like the interior areas of the state during the winter months. They are all over Central Florida (not just WDW).

That being said, avoid eating outside at WDW during seagull season!

Seeing as how I booked this one through Orbitz, my passes are non-refundable and non-cancelable. Nor can they be changed out. So I am stuck. I did just drop a grand on Karate lessons, so should a gull attempt to lift my food, I will kung fu them in the head. Assuming I can lift my leg that high without exposing myself to the public. Maybe I won't wear shorts just to be safe.

These are great!! Made me laugh out loud and now everyone is looking at me strangely. Hmm..go figure. You could always bring some sacrificial food. Once they start dive bombing you, throw out some nasty old popcorn (or something) maybe they will flock, well like seagulls, to the food. Aim it in the correct direction and you could take in a "show" as well.
