I use the pin right after I get it BUT I watch and wait for at least 2 people to miss before I use mine.

I don't think this matters as there were three wins from three diff ppl in a row last time I pulled it. Good times for everyone!

The other day I rode the rides and approximately every three rides got a pin. It then took me some dozen pins before I got my only magic.

I've also noticed that people are getting more rude when trying to wait to pull the sword out. This happened once when there was only me at the stone. That person just could not wait a few more seconds.

rode about 20 times.. got 13 pins.. pulled sword out 1 time.. i need you all's luck.. lol

OMG! I have been on the rides too many times to count today with well over 40 Sword pins received. So far just 2 Coral Magic pins...

I wanted just one coral pin for my other character, so kept track today. She rode 26 times, got 13 sword pins, and finally got one coral magic pin.

Of course, now that I'm trying to get my last Coral Magic, I'm 0:7...

It was like that trying to get my fourth. Suddenly a big drop in how often it happens, and after that it goes back to normal.
