Rates for HRH in July - Help, please??

Hi everyone,
We're planning to add 2-3 days to our vacation this year at Universal. We've only done Disney in the past and I need some help!

First, is there a place I can find standard rates for the Universal resorts for July 2, 3, 4? Also, I keep reading about AAA rates, Fan club card rates, entertainment book rates-----which generally is best?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can check rates at universalorlando.com, just click on onsite resorts at the top of the page. At the next page, click on HRH. You can also check them at loewshotels.com

As far as discount codes, I will warn you that they are not very good this year. AAA and APH (passholder) have been about all there is. You might find a FAN rate, but it probably won't be that good. NO ONE has reported getting the ENT rate. Apparently, Loews are still in negotiations with ENT (or so the rumor goes...) and it looks as though there may be no ENT rates at all for 2005.

You can sometimes find discounted rooms at hotelkingdom.com, expedia.com, or orangevacations.com

**Just make sure you read the payment policy/cancellation details for these sights. Hotelkingdom charges 10% down PLUS the hotel charges one night's stay. I didn't realize this before reading. I would have been shocked to see the additional 200 taken from my account by Universal. Just a heads up.
