I own 2 "timeshares", and neither one of them even comes close to what I have at DVC. What I own at DVCis an experience, not just a timeshare. As far as value? Well lets just say one of the timeshares I now own is a wonderful place that was "given" to me at only the $28 it took to register the deed. The original owner paid $14,000 for it, but no longer had a use for it, and just gave it to me. Now I am very grateful to him for that, but by far the best value I have is DVC, and yes I paid like everyone else for it. I had bought my first timeshare 23 years ago, and have used it extensively, and believe in timeshare's in general, but DVC goes WAAAAY beyond timeshare, and your average person on the street will never understand that unless they experience it first hand. As of this date we haven't stayed in our "experience" yet, but after 10 years of wishing, we finally were able to belong to this wonderful experience. Thanks for asking, and we look so forward to going home for the first time next August.
