Rate quotes higher on weekends??

I quoted our trip for Dec.4th-10th this week and quote was for 1498. and some change. Today I went back on the website to book the trip and the quote was for 2200. I have checked and rechecked my options to make sure i chose all the same options. Does the disney site quote higher on the weekend than during the week??

Something is different. The prices are pre set and the day of the week that you book makes no difference.

Doublecheck your ticket options. The website likes to stick on the MYWWPF&M&PH when you quote packages unless you tell it not to.

It has also "recommended" DDP for me as well.

I have noticed that on the weekend, some of the room options are not available for the sale price and that are available for during the week.

I have Poly Club Garden booked in August with an AP 40% discount. My weekday rates are 40% off and my weekend dates are rack rates. I have repeatedly called trying to get some sort of reason.

I have been told the following.....

1. The AP rate is unavailable for the weekend.

2. Weekend rates are higher.

3. That IS the AP rate for the weekend. (When priced out, this puts rack rate higher than Christmas.)


When I pull up the same room on Disney.com it shows the same rack rate for all of the days. I am frustrated, but I don't seem to be able to get anywhere with anyone when I call. They all just have a different reason that the prices are correct.

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them! Should I call the Poly directly or maybe email concierge? I just feel like it's an issue with reservations and that is probably where I would have to make any adjustments.

I had that happen last year with a few different quotes. For some reason the tax was way off. I did it again the next day or the day after that and got the correct rate. I think the system gets messed up at times. I have also had that happen with tickets.
