Rate increases for resorts

I was wondering for those of you who are seasoned vets at the DW experience, on average how much of an increase do you see in the resort rates and DW park tickets from year to year. I will not be taking my family until 2010 and am trying to figure on a budget

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

I admire your planning aptitude but even if you do get a reasonable idea of the increases for rooms and tickets the last few years, there is no guarantee they will continue to grow at those rates.

For example, if you were planning a trip for 2008 back in the summer of 2006, you probably would not have factored in how rapidly airfare and gasoline prices would have gone up based on the 2004-2006 period.

But...enjoy your planning anyway!

According to mousesavers.com the annual average increase from the early 90's has been between 2.82% to 4.88% depending on the resort.

It seems over the past decade that the Deluxe resorts have gone up $10-$15 per night each year.
