Does anyone know how much it costs to have daily Mousekeeping if you are "Renting" a DVC Reservation? Is it different for the type of accomodation? I'm sure Grand Villa is more?:confused3

Sorry, I don't know.... Frankly, I personally wouldn't want daily mousekeeping. I don't want to have to work my schedule around when mousekeeping might come in. We are clean people... so when we arrive you can be assured the unit is going to be as clean when we leave. Just the way we are. I would much rather have my unit to myself for the week and not have to wonder when MK was coming in. JMHO.

Are you renting from a member? Or did you book through Disney's CRO? If you rented from a member, hold on to your hat because a few of our DVC friends actually have the price list and you are not going to believe the rates! If you rented through Disney and paid Disney to stay in your DVC resort, then housekeeping is included.

I found the info from another thread:

Studio/Inn Room - $25.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $30.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $40.00 per day requested
Grand Villa - $60.00 per day requested
Trash & Towel - $10.00 per day requested.

n2mm, those are the old prices. They have increased. These went into effect about a year ago.

The higher rates are what is listed on the DVC Memeber website under each resort, and they have been for about a year.

While the rates are a "wow", most of us DVC members like the no-mousekeeping feature. We don't have to worry about when we are taking a nap or anything else, and don't have to schedule around "when do you think mousekeeping will come?". We have washers and dryers in the room, so clean towels are never an issue, and I make my bed as soon as I get out of it at home, so why not on vacation too? It doesn't take more than a minute to do so.

I read somewhere that you only get one set of toiletries per stay and it is a fee to get more. With 2 teenage girls one set will not last us a week (and I do enjoy the H2O aquatics stuff). What is the fee for extras when we run out? Probably not handsoap or lotion but we would need extra shampoo, conditioner (that water is brutal and we all have thick hair) and shower gel.

Your toiletries are replaced on trash and towel day and full housekeeping day.

If you need additional sets, they are $5

Your girls might like their own shampoo better. The H2O is better than the old Mickey shampoo, but the bottles are small.

Go hit the Bath & Body Works and pick up some shower gel there and some coordinating shampoo and conditioner.
