I read a small aside on a Disney email I get that they will start changing the rate during your stay if you are there during a seasonal shift. For example we like to go just before Christmas and get a cabin. With AP discounts we usually get a cabin for $175w/tax. If this change goes into effect I'll have to pay $365 from the 20th on!!! There are no discounts for Christmas season so that means full price?!?

Considering the fact I have NEVER had a problem getting a ressie for the cabins I can't believe they're really going to get that kind of money for them. What do you guys think?

Actually I like to be gone before the 20th and the crowds but we were thinking of going later than usual to see Gary Sinise. Not if I have to pay $365 to be out in the back of beyond (I love Ft. Wilderness at Xmas, but it is far from everything).

I read that on all ears. It shouldn't go into effect until 1/1/08, i think, so you should be safe this Christmas.
