Ratatouille still at Chefs?

When we made our ADR for Chefs in March, I asked if Ratatouille was there during dinner or just lunch and was told dinner too. Alas, when we ate that evening, no Ratatouille.

I now have a lunchtime ADR in November, but I didn't even as the CM if Ratatouille is still there at lunch. Does anyone know?

The current news is that Remy is "on vacation" (likely being repaired or refurbished) and may be back sometime in October.

As for March, there could be a couple of reasons you didn't see Remy. If your dinner was past 6 PM you would not have seen him; his last appearance begins at 5:20, so while the person you spoke to was not incorrect, they should have let you know that Remy does not appear for ALL of the dinner service. If you ate at Chefs on Sunday, Remy does not appear at all on Sundays (you may want to make sure your current ADR is not on a Sunday). If he happened to break down the night you were there, you would not have seen him.

Thanks so much! Our current ADR is on a Sunday, so I guess I need to change it!

We were there on 9/27 and were told Remy was away for 2 weeks on vacation. It was a bit of a bummer as we had timed our meal in hopes to see him and we might not have gone to Le Chefs otherwise. But we did have a pretty good meal all things considered.

Family was there 9/12 and no Remy. Kids were bummed, but then again, it was my son's birthday and they didnt do anything for that either. Chefs was a letdown the whole way around for us.

He never appears on Sundays.9/12 was a Sunday. As for them not doing anything for your childs birthday, sorry you were disappointed. But NOT every place does things for birthdays. They don't have to,it is up to the Cms discretion and if they have time.We had many places on our trip that never acknowledged our daughters birthday, despite it being on our ressie, and her wearing her pin.Nothing should be expected.

Yes, I was rather disappointed that Remy was not there on 9/27 when we were there for lunch as that is why I made an ADR there to begin with. Our waiter aslo said the "out for 2 weeks" thing. My kids and I love Remy. They were sad they didn't get to see him. Also, the food was marginal. Oh well, next time I'll ask about Remy before we get seated...

We ate at Chefs on Sat 9/25 at noon and were told that Remy was on vacation until October something. Bump this thread occasionally and you should hear soon whether he's back.

I didnt know that Remy didnt come around on Sundays, but Jean Paul told my daughter he would be around. Mistakes happen I guess, but she was a little disappointed. The birthday ordeal wasnt really a factor as nobody actually cared, but with the food being pretty bad, it would have at least salvaged some of the experience. Oh well.
