rare characters?

I thought the Dragon from Pete's Dragon was the toughest to find ?

Elliot has never done meet and greets to my knowledge. He did appear as a float in the Main Street Electrical Parade though.

We found Daisy Duck in the Gazebo behind Minnie's House in Toontown last December/January. The kids were all thrilled since she's a hard one to find!

We saw Daisy Duck last April at MGM. I can't remember where we saw her though. My son loved her but my DD cried for some reason. Daisy Duck was the only character she cried at!!

We met Donald when we were there just last week. He was in front of a star trailer on Mickey Ave in MGM.

The time before we met Brer Bear after getting off of Splash Mountain.

I have only seen Big Bad Wolf and Mr. Walrus at MNSSHP. We can never find Rabbit (from Pooh).

I saw Rabbit in Oct. 2005 at AK..he was down in the landing area before Dinoland with Pooh..Rabbit is one of my favorites so I was glad to see him..its my Avatar (?) It was a first for us! He is in his pumpkin costume.

We saw Daisy Duck October 2006 at Epcot. We were very excited as in all our years it was another first for us. Donald was also there.

I seem to have trouble with Alice....I know shes there. Everytime they call when i'm at MK they say shes not coming out today. I guess I'll do 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and hope she's there.

We have seen Donald and Daisy many times in front of his trailer in MGM right past JoJo and Goliath.

As far as Chip and Dale they seem to be simply everyhwere.

We saw Frozone with The Incrdibles when they used to be at MGM but have not seen them since they moved.

Yes. Chip and Dale are VERY easy to find. It seems like they are everywhere.

About five or six years ago we went the the Beauty and the Beast show and hung around after it was over as the crowd was moving out. We were sitting behind the lights/sound area and started talking to the lady that was working there. She asked my daughter who her favorite character was and she told her, The Beast. This lady got on the phone and talked to someone then came and told us that the Beast was going to be out in front of some building around 2:30 for pics and autographs.

We got there a little earlier and this CM was standing there--we asked where the characters hung out because we were told the Beast was going to be there at 2:30. He said he would check for us because the Beast NEVER comes out--in fact, he made a point of telling us, "are you sure they said the Beast was going to be here?" He gets on the phone and tells us that sure enough the Beast will be out in about 15 minutes. And he was just like they said.

I haven't really seen the Beast in any recent trips--does he come out still?

I believe the Beast comes out in France at Epcot. I just thought of another rare character (in terms of meets). Merlin- he hardly ever does meets after thr show (except with the kid who was picked). Well, in January he did meets before one of the shows, and I got a photo and an autograph with him.

Same happened for us in Oct. We were sitting by Tinkerbelle's Treasure's chatting with a local friend who came to see us during our trip, we we're even aware that the show was about to take place. DD was very happy that we were in the right place at the right time.

I've met Timon, I dont think there is a Pumba character. I think he's just on floats and in the Festival of the Lion King show.
I've met Mary Poppins in the Grand Floridian and also in the UK at Epcot.
I don't think there are any Kanga and Roo characters?
Bugs life - Flick was in MGM one time when I was there.
Lilo and Stitch are there.
I met the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Esmerelda at a MGM breakfast the year TOT opened.

When we were at WDW in 2003 we saw Daisy at MK and AK. But when we were at WDW in January we couldn't find her anywhere. She is beautiful!!!

Cool story!!! In reference to characters, I find that many CM don't know what's going on outside of their immediate area. Actually it's great that CM took the time to call and get the truth about Beast! Good thing you didn't initally listen to that CM and give up!!

Beast does get out, usually in France at Epcot. We saw him there in January. He can be in that garden behind the stores near the water, or inside the Library room connected to the gift shop.
