Rare Character

We saw Jiminity Cricket in October at the Character Holiday (where they arrive by bus) in Epcot. I didn't even realize he was rare!

We would love to see Chip (Beauty & the Beast) or anyone from Bambi or Dumbo!

When we went to MGM back in Feb. '05, we saw the Evil Queen & my husband stopped for a picture with her...

He also stopped and got a picture with Brer Bear outside the entrance to AK...

But, the only time we ever saw Brer Rabbit was on the float during the Christmas parade at MVMCP...

We saw Daisy last year at Chef Mickey's. I would love to see Jiminy Cricket and Grumpy. DH would have to get his picture mad with Grumpy (his twin)

I would love to see Grumpy. I ask every day when we are there if Grumpy will be doing any meet and greets. He never does, at least when we are there. I also would love to see Jiminy Cricket! He is great!

We met Grumpy in 2000 at Epcot...I'll have to dig out that picture & post it for you. Meeting him was very unexpected...he came up from behind and scared us! Together we took a very "grumpy" picture.

Daisy is usually right outside the train station at the MK!!

We saw Wendy and Peter Pan right across from Pirates in May 2005:

Captain Hook and Mr. Smee were right behind them, but the girls didn't feel like standing in line for them.

FIGMENT!!! I have a picture of me interacting with him and Dreamfinder from when I was a toddler. It's so cute...I have to find that photo, scan it somehow, and post it on here in the future. I would love to meet Figment again.

Figment is right outside of the Imagination Pavilion! Near the jumping fountains!! We were SO thrilled to see him!

We go to Chef Mickey's every trip ... I've never seen Daisy there!!! MinnieNurse, you must haven't gotten VERY lucky!!

When we were at Epcot in November, the Figment area was all closed up. He wasn't even listed under the character meet and greets on that weekly paper you get. I'm so thankful we got to meet him last summer--my DS6 absolutely loves Journey Into Imagination and was just about beside himself to finally meet him.

That spot over by Toontown is a hidden treasure. Back in November, my best friend, DS, and I were all standing in line for the train, when Rabbit, Max, Foulfellow, and one other character came out. There were almost no lines to see any of them. I'll be sure to have my family periodically hang out in that area this August and December to see what great characters come out.

We saw Dumbo! The cast members were all amazed that he came out for photos, no autographs. It was right in front of the Dumbo ride the day in closed for refurbishment in January 2005. The next day they had one of the ride cars set up for people to climb in a get a photo. So I am guessing Dumbo's appearance was a one day thing.

My DH would love to get Malicificent's autograph. We saw her once walking away and then he saw her while running the marathon this year. He said if he had paper and pen he would've stopped running for that.

I wouldn't sit by the toon town trainstation all day. that area is only used as a training location which is why two rabbits were seen at the same time.

Brer bear can be regularly found at the Oasis at Animal Kingdom, thats just before you enter the park. Occationaly Launch pad as well.

Figment is no longer used for the simple fact that the costumes have been damaged and the company hasn't decided if it's financialy sound for them to invest to get them repaired. there are only two.

Brer Fox is in training and will make his apperance soon at Splash Mountain.
Same for Jack Sparrows at Pirates

Brer Rabbit can be seen regularly at the Fronteer Land Hoedown and the animal kingdom parade.


I would also like to point out that the Princess room at Toon Town has changed names. It is now called the Story book room. You could possilby meet a prince in there. It's never a definite so you should check it out. I know charming and philip have been there the last few days.

i would love to see Thumper or Flower from Bambi !!! I heard they are sometimes out - at MVMCP and MNSSHP - never spotted them myself tho

Has anyone ever seen anyone dressed as characters from the movie Hocus Pocus? Probably would be at the Halloween parties if at all. I love that movie.

I've got one for you- I'm not sure of an exact starting date, but some time this summer, keep an eye out for the debut of Clarise! Don't know who Clarise is? She's from an old Chip and Dale short called "Two Chips and a Miss." She's the flirty female chipmunk that both Chip and Dale fall in love with.
