Rapunzel's lanterns photo op?

I keep seeing photos on various forms of social media of people by the Rapunzel's tower area holding lanterns. Anyone know anything about this? Is this a permanent new photo op or was it a special event or something?

I saw it too. I think they are testing new photopass props.
I love the lantern, so I hope it's a keeper.
