Are these characers @ DL? Do they have anything rides or shows on them?

My daughter is in love with them!

They have thier own Meet and Greet. It is in Fantasyland on the left and back when you go through the Castle.

It can have a long wait so plan to do it early.

Rapunzel has a meet and greet. I dont think Flynn is there anymore.

Not sure how busy it will be in Jan, but during our Sept. trip, I think we waited about 30 minutes on a Thursday afternoon. Mousewait has shown that waits can sometimes be up to 75 minutes!

Frankly, I do not think it was worth it as we had about 1 minute with Rapunzel. She signed our girls' autograph books and took 2 photos. Still, if your DD loves her, then maybe the 30+ minute is worth it. I've

I'm not sure if Flynn is still there, but if he is, make sure you ask to see what is in his satchel! He's got the tiara! It's such a fun, Disneyesque detail, I love it. And your daughter will think it is totally magical. The wait to see them can get quite long, but they are really cute and fun for little girls who are huge fans.

If you want a peek but don't want to wait in line, we accidentally discovered the spot to sit. It was in the Pinocchio restaurant, The Village Haus I think. When you walk in, go to the left and sit in the corner in the back of the restaurant. It's by a door and a curtain. The curtain is where the people who, God bless them, waited an hour to meet Flynn and Rapunzel. This is the exit of the meet-and-greet.

We were just there in September. It was pretty hot, the baby was napping, and we wanted a nice, quiet, cool spot to rest while she did. I thought that spot would be perfect when, lo and behold, in walks Flynn and Rapunzel. The rest of the time we had a blast listening to people's comments as they left the meet-and-greet. Kids and moms were excited. Dad's grumbled about the giant stroller they have to push but didn't want to bring or complained about a child's temper tantrum they threw. "We waited an hour for her to behave like that?!" We were cracking up.

With that being said, the corner is not quiet or cool because the door opens and closes continually as people leave. Also, the curtain is kept closed so people don't try and sneak in. (We were careful to be not be too loud or try to get their attention by calling to them because, I don't know, it wasn't fair to those who had waited so long. It was their moment.)There is a cast member manning the post. In fact, the cast member on this particular day was fantastic. He would play a game with our oldest daughter and slowly close the curtain or peek out and make faces with her. She liked him more than Flynn and Rapunzel.

Anyways, so there's a secret spot that can be kind of fun since it's where Flynn and Rapunzel enter and exit. Also, I did see her stop for a quick pic on her break. All I could think was, "Wow! That's one lucky kid." Right place at the right time and didn't have to wait in line although I would say that is the exception not the rule.

We saw them in Dec. It was a wait because the line had been closed off to new people, and we had to wait for them to reopen the line. My mom waited at the carousel bench while we went to Reindeer Roundup. When they opened the line she got in line and called us over. Then we had about a 20-30 min wait in the line (we were the first in line) before Rapunzel & Flynn retuned and they started meeting guests again. It was a huge thing for my DD4 who loves purple and thinks Rapunzel is the best princess (3 guesses as to why...). :)

Has anyone seen Rapunzel there this week? I know they took down the "hair" outside the meet and greet, and it sounds to me like Disney is trying to hint she'll be moved to the Princess Fantasy Faire. (The actual "coronation ceremony" in London was October 2, so she could be there already.)

On October 2, millions will clamor to catch a glimpse of the newest Disney Princess – Rapunzel – at her official coronation ceremony in Kensington Palace, the home of kings, queens, and many a crowned head!...Once inducted onto the echelon of Disney Princesses, Rapunzel will permanently don her jeweled tiara (previously stolen by Flynn!) and be seen wherever her fellow Princesses appear. Stay tuned to DisneyPrincess.com for more details on Rapunzel's big day!

I hate to see any of the characters move to the PFF because it's so nice to know where to meet them, instead of being subjected to "roulette..." and Flynn was great. But maybe when the new princess meet-and-greet opens, they'll have a way for you to know which princes you will meet...?

Flynn isn't there anymore. Its just rapunzel. She was definitely there this past sunday and the wait was about 30 mins. We didn't meet with her but the line looked short so I asked the CM how long and that's what he said. I didn't even notice that anything had changed with her tower though.

I wish I would have known about the satchel thing when we saw flynn earlier this year. My dd would have loved that!

Dateline Disneyland's 9/12 entry has pictures of the de-haired Meet and Greet exterior. (They speculate that Rapunzel is getting ready to move, but that's not news; just a guess. The photos are real though. :) )

When we met Rapunzel and Flynn, we saw for a family before us, he snuck out the tiara, met the eyes of a little girl, and mouthed "Sssh" to her. Too funny!

Is it safe to say then that Flynn will make appearances randomly, and doesn't have a "set schedule" like Rapunzel does? I wonder if this will show up on the main board that lists all the character greetings when you first enter the park.

Also, is it the same for all the rest of the princes at DL? :confused3

They advertize the Tangled Meet and Greet as a place to meet Rapunzel, so I think that's their way of saying you MAY meet Flynn, and maybe not.

If I recall correctly, it's actually pretty unusual to meet any other princes at DL, excepting Aladdin, who is sometimes at Aladdin's Oasis. I have heard that for special events (in particular, Valentine's Day) the princes are out with their princesses, but I've never witnessed it.

We just met Flynn with Rapunzel today so he is definitely still there!

oooh, that's so fun!! I always scooch dd past the tangled m&g because the line is always so long. But maybe I'll ask the cm's next time if flynn is around. I really think my dd would love to see the crown in the satchel.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Is that a lengthy wait? We tried to meet them on our last trip to WDW and they were lining up for the 12:30 greeting before 9am!!! I'm positively giddy that the wait might be less than an hour! (The line for the fairies at WDW is NEVER less than an hour, unless you're at the very front of the line at the rope drop!)

Just for the record, someone recently noted in a trip report that she met Rapunzel with two other princesses at the PFF. So I don't know if Rapunzel has actually moved there at this point... :confused3
