Why don't you do both? You could get a late seating at T-rex and just eat dessert. That will keep OOP down and everyone will get to experience both restaurants.

I agree, I would split it up but I understand why you don't want to. If you MUST do T-Rex I will chime and and say that we love the one in Kansas City. It is so beautiful in the bar area with all the glass sculptures of the jellyfish etc... not sure if it's the same in Orlando but there are only two so I am guessing so... Hopefully you will get back to WDW before too long and you'll get your way!!

I would say it's not worth arguing with your family about it...LeCellier is "meh" at best and kinda gross at worst. Last time we ate there, my dd couldn't even eat her meal, it was pretty nasty. And my steak was not worth going out of my way for. I can make a better steak at home. And frankly, the service stunk too...waitress was rushed and unattentive. I say go with majority rules, in the end it's not worth overthinking this. It's just food, and certainly won't make or break your vacation. Have fun!

I just don't think it's fair to put the daughter into a situation where she's frightened or uncomfortable.

She doesn't have to be a quivering mass of jelly to be uncomfortable. It's her vacation too; I think the group should take a child's fears into consideration when making their plans... or demands.
