That was posted on WDWMagic that the staff at the show were upset at decreasing the parts of the narrators and shortening the show.
When we saw it in April, there was not as much banter between the narrators or as many jokes as last fall. It was good, but just not as good.
Maybe they got enough negative feedback, that they changed it back.
Fantasmic - A must top-tier Disney character spectaular.
Star Wars Fireworks - If you love Star Wars, it's awesome.
Frozen singalong - we all love it - adults/kids/boys/girls
Beauty and the Beast - still a great musical broadway-style show after all these years
Muppets - we still go every other trip or so. It's funny.
Little Mermaid - the Ursula animatronic and glow in the dark puppet rendition of Under the Sea are fantastic.
Indiana Jones - yawn. Too much 'this is how we do this stuff' with no story or plot and very little action (5 minutes?) for the 45 minutes you sink into it.

Star wars fireworks is #1 for me, because fireworks and star wars are two of my favorite things
Indiana Jones is 2 because of the nostalgia factor (Tho I brought my nephew to it for the first time last summer and he LOVED it as well.)
Frozen is #3 because it is fun and air conditioned (which is why it juuuust edges out Beauty and the Beast)
Beauty and the Beast #4 because it is classic
Muppets- short and easy to see and I love the preshow room
Little Mermaid- we're in solid "meh" territory (I mean there's now a RIDE at MK that pretty much hits all the same notes)
Fantasmic- I'll take a lot of heat for this one, but I just don't enjoy this show enough to justify the sheer amount of time I have to invest in seeing it.
Due to time constraints i can't see all the "shows" at Hollywood Studios, can you guys tell me your favourites from the list below from an adult perspective?
Indiana Jones
Beauty and the Beast
Frozen Sing Along
Voyage little Mermaid
Muppet Vision
Fantasmic
Other
Fantasmic is something you must do at least once IMO. It is more of an event than a traditional show though...
Beauty (near Broadway quality but shorter)
Indy (great stunts and production value)
Muppets (dark, indoor, beat the heat, funny)
Frozen (sing a long not my thing.....)
Mermaid (terrible IMO)
IMO Beauty is right there with Lion King as best WDW shows
