Not sure if anyone knows from reading the newspapers but we've had a dolphin who keeps visiting weymouth and letting people swim with him and touch him etc - well my friend rang me earlier very excited as she managed to get him to swim over to her and had a swim!! he lets you touch his mouth and then rolls over so you can tickle his stomach. a photographer came from the local newspaper and took some pictures in the water but apparantly randy wasn't too pleased and kept bumping him and circling him. I'm going down there tomorrow to see if he comes at his usual time 3- 7pm
I remember seeing several articles on Meridian news down here in the South about Randi - they're trying to return him to his French waters aren't they because he's getting a little too used to humans and the example you gave of him bumping the photographer is what they are afraid of. Apparently he's a very sexually aggressive male and they are concerned that he could - quite innocently - kill someone by trying to mate
I hope you enjoy seeing him - they're magical, beautiful creatures and so wonderful to see them in their natural habitat
