With the first package for example - does that mean you only get one proper photo print?
In fact, all of the packages seem to offer limited prints. Are you supposed to order these individually at an additional cost?
In this case, what is the preview album?

well i dont think hers was small it had 3 pics across (down) and had loads of pages maggimus was her screen name and i'm sure she has posted it on other photographer questions. But from what i remember it was like a ring biner with tall pages and then three pics underneath each other

Ah yes, I have seen these before, just hadn't realised what it was!

We're having custom as I think we have about 30 guests potentially, so may have to look at having Randy longer than the basic 3 hours.
I'm happy with what's included in the basic pack, but the prices jump up a lot for package that have longer hours.
We need to have a good look through the different packages he offers and decide what's best. Maybe he can quote us for the basic package elements eg 1 large print, and just add on the additional hours.
Or we could have the Disney photographer just for the dessert party perhaps, will have to see how the minumum goes!!
All stuff to think about.

You can just go with a smaller package and pay for an extra hour or two. We had the intimate/escape, so three hours was perfect. He came before hand and did some getting ready shots, then the ceremony and several afterwards. I know Summer paid for extra time to have him come back for the dessert party. He is FANTASTIC !! We got over 850 pictures in our three hour time frame. I have looked through them repeatedly trying to decide which ones I want enlargements of.

Yes, his basic package doesn't include a lot of prints because you get the CD and copyright to take it anywhere to have prints made. But you can also order reprints through him, more ala carte. And his prices are SOOO reasonable. I don't have the info with me at work, but I remember the 8X10's are $18.50, compared to DPS at $30.00. Plus with DPS, unless you pay extra you don't get the CD (except international brides). The photo albums that you can purchase from Randy offer certain numbers and sizes and you choose which photos you want in them. Again, these are awesome.

randy custom did a package for me! i didn't need him for a whole 7 hours, so he's going to be at mine for 5 or 6 or something!

Even international brides dont get the cd unless your an intimate wedding with disney is what i was told before we contracted for me as a custom bride it will work out about $1000 for the cd

Chiming in a little late Randy does give you the copywrite and encourages you to get prints on your own. Its a whole lot cheaper that way too. Walmart will do prints for as little as .22 cents. You can also go to other big photography places and get them. Its more for convenience than anything (and to save you money which is what we all want, right?).

The album I got was really nice and included most all of my photos. So when people come over-- they do have something to look at!

Give him a call and tell him your situation and let him customize a package for you. Linda, Randy's wife, is great and if you call the office she can likely help you as well!

I paid Randy a deposit at 15 months out as I really wanted him! We're also adding extra hours to the basic package. The main reason that we chose Randy is that he takes lots more photo's than Disney as well as including the disc.

I am having a hard time deciding between Randy and Misty, and now that her prices went up, I'm having an even harder time. For the package that I want for unlimited hours, Misty offers a second photographer, professional lightening, and a cd with pictures and music. While I do love Misty's pictures, Randys are also breathtaking. Help!

This was my dilema as well. It solved itself, as Randy was not available on my selected day and Misty was. I attempted to move my day and the venue was not available. So full steam ahead with Misty. I love both of their work and they are both good as gold to work with.

Good luck choosing, it's a tough one to make!

I just booked Randy for my wedding in April 08. This is what he told me I would get for the 3 hour package.... you will get aprx 400 4x5s in a album plus the master DVD with around 800 images so you will have the copyrights...
