A drop of oil of volume 10 to the power of -10m cubed (0.0000000001) spreads out on water to make a circular film of of radius 0.1m. What is the thickness and radius of a film formed from four such drops? Supposing that the thickness of an oil slick on the sea is a thousand times that of this kind of film, and that the density of oil is 900 kgm to the power of -3 (0.001) find the volume and mass of a slick which forms a rectangular area 20km x 5m.
So... who can solve that?
Imperfect tense? That like ich gab, ich spielte, etc. right?
ouch, that certainly is head hurtingMaybe if I split it up...

So...
.........................density
thickness = ----------------------- x length
.....................mass x width
Density is 9kgm. width is 0.2, and length is 0.2. I just don't know the mass...
