Liz: Did you know Duran Duran is performing at the end of October in New Orleans for the VooDoo Music festival?
My best friend is a huge fan, she would throw down with you for Simon, who due to my advanced age I cannot even picture I am without a clue.....She is going to the festival and last I saw she was digging her Duran Duran memorabilia box out of the garage to get all her stuff.....

I keep seeing ads in magazines for it and it's KILLING me...I can't find anywhere if they're going to broadcast it somewhere. I even got an email from the boys themselves several months ago that they were doing it (yes, I'm signed up for Duran Duran email!).

Tell your friend that John Taylor waved to me last year at their concert. I'd taken in my front license plate (which has to do with them)...at the end, when they came over on the little riser, I held it up and jumped up and down, and John pointed to me and waved!

Made it and on my way there again (see post #468).
