Random Thoughts: Post em!

lol i fell the same way about homework

I actually feel your pain with that as well. I'm finishing my masters online, so I get the nights with homework too. Luckily they don't overlap too much. My next class starts in the end of October, so I got break now.

Any luck with that cheese?

Random Thought: You know that song "It's 5 o'clock somewhere"?

"it's only half past 12, but I don't care....it's 5 o'clock somewhere"

ok...if it's 12:30 that means that according to GMT it could be 5:30 somewhere or 4:30 somwhere, but it would be IMPOSSIBLE to be 5:00 somewhere. :confused3 Oh well, it's not the first time a country song has been unintelligent.

Nova Scotia is 4 1/2 hours behind GMT, so technically, yes it could be....okay, so it would be 8 o'clock somewhere.

Ha ha! You are right of course, but I can explain this to you as a frequent visitor to the Caribbean--anytime it is "5 o' clock somewhere" it is OK to have an "adult beverage." If it's after 5 o'clock somewhere, say 5:30 somewhere, anywhere, even better!

For the safety of your family, job, and liver, do not practice this at home....

Men suck. Love stinks.

*rips out heart and stomps on it*

I'm just going to live my life as a bitter, cynical old hag.

Not yet. But part of me thinks I'm being impatient. I only called on Monday, when he works until about 8:30/9 p.m. The poor guy works 12-14 hours a day and his family's company (for which he is the director of sales and marketing) is building a new showroom and he's been doing a lot of PR (writing articles and giving interviews for the local papers and magazines) and he has his kids 3-4 nights a week (one of which is Wednesday)...

I don't know. I'm also mad at my ex anyway.

Have you talked to him at all since he moved?

Love stinks....
Yeah yeah....

Ahem! Read my tag! BTW if I wasn't married, I'd call apirateslifeforme.

My random thought for the morning: why gun your truck through a red light only to stop at the next red light 100ft. further down the road?

Nope...I called him, he called back about a week later and said "call me back" 4x, left his number again...

I haven't even SEEN him! Except once...sort of...he'd gone to the beach or the lake with his daughters and when I drove by on my way home, I saw his rear end hanging out of his Jeep. And then there was his picture in the paper, but that's all I've seen of him.

Oh Jrsy Boy! How could I forget you?! :sad2: Of course you don't suck! :goodvibes: If you weren't married, would you call me?

But he did call you back! That's good! :teeth: Sounds like he's just really busy. I'm really impatient, too. Try to hang in there.

Thank you Michelle! :teeth:

Liz (It is Liz isn't it? I believe that is what is says on your sig),
I wouldn't give up yet. He gave you the best indication, he asked you to call him. You have to remember, guys really don't think of the phone and calling back as often as ladies. I'm not trying to say this in a bad way or anything, it's really just how it is...for the majority. BUT it doesn't mean they don't want to, trust me. Also, it sounds like he has been ultra busy. He may not be settling down at night until late and feels it might be too late to call. I would give him a few more days before you give up on him. And I know this is a lot easier said than done.

And like Jrsy Boy, if I wasn't married I'd call you back and you Michelle. But of course, then I would have to hide that from both of you. And then I would fall into the "Men suck" category.

I know...I had a guy friend listen to his message and he said, "Uh, you know, from a guy's point of view, he really sounds interested and optimistic..."

I think he's so busy, he just forgets. Probably has a million things on his mind. At least the new company showroom is directly across from where we live - I'll be able to see when it's done and maybe then, things will slow down for him. At least I know he's too busy to date someone else, right? :p

Okay, and I'm not trying to ignore Ryan and Jrsy Boy. So far they don't suck :)

Yep, it's Liz. And thanks...you know, you just said the same thing my other guy friend said. I was whining and he said, "He's a GUY...that's the main reason!"

He also told me, a few months ago, that he finds it scary to try to get involved again.

I'm going to cry now. You guys are being so sweet! It means a lot to me!

You're very welcome! :thumbsup2

And I agree with you (of course you're right - you're a GUY!), that men don't think of calling (or even emailing) like women do. He does sound interested, but also busy.

And if you wanted to call us and weren't married, why would you have to hide it? PLEASE don't fall into the "Men suck" category. :sad2: :rotfl2:

That depends...how do you feel about Zooey Deschanel and Kari Byron?

I think he means he'd have to hide it from each of you that he was calling the other one, too.

The DIS does rock! :thumbsup2 And sorry Michele. I was spelling your name with 2 'l'. Oh, and I forgot my random thought.

On the theme of "Men Suck"....
Random Thought: The Ramses brand condom is named after the great phaoroh Ramses II who fathered over 160 children. I guess he could have used one of these. ;)

Bingo! Ok, so I'm not to good at writing sarcasm into my posts.
