Here's a random classroom story.
One day we were working on writing descriptive paragraphs. They were to be adding lots of adjectives, red, shiny, tired....to describe something. A lot of the kids were describing an item in the classroom. One boy wrote on his paper, "(My teacher) is hot." Well, I read it and had a little vanity moment, tossing back my hair, chest swelling a bit. Then I realized that I had just said, "please open the window, Billy, it is getting warm in here" and he was describing the temperature in the room, not my feminine beauty.
