Thanks, maybe the caffeine will help my headache!

sad to say, I am addicted to caffeine. If I don't have any, I get the worst headache. Bad, I know :( Some days I don't have time to make myself any before work because we are running late and I don't have time to stop at Starbucks, so by the time I get to work, I have a headache. Thank goodness we have a coffee maker there! Lifesaver! :rotfl2:

HERE IT IS MY 1000TH POST

:yay: :dance3: :woohoo: :cool1: :hyper: :cheer2: :rockband: :dancer: party: :jumping1:

My goal today is to trim two more shrubs.
It's the two a day project.
I will be done in a month or so at this rate, but at least I have a plan!

Tomorrow......alas........:faint:
I have class........all day! 8-4:30, and Friday, too.
I am already having anxiety attacks about what I might miss on here!:lmao:

I could never ever keep up with this thread if I had to work! Especially since the DIS is blocked at work! :scared1: I guess that's a good thing, I would never get anything done! :surfweb: I wanna go in the pool and swim in peace but today the pool guy comes. He's usually here by now. I just know if I get in now, he'll show up within 2 minutes. That's just the way things roll around here!

YIKES those disney adventures are ridiculously expensive! More than the cruise with all your meals included. The adventures don't even include ALL the meals just some. I just looked at the AmericanSouthwest, Sedona, grand canyon,,,,,,2,195 for an adult PER ADULT eight days seven nights

I hope you're all doing well. I'm glad I'm back home. Doctor's visit went well. Skin cancer scar is almost totally healed. Hopefully, today was my last laser treatment.

impressive link posting!
I'm going to peruse the adventures right now:banana:

prepare for sticker shock! I briefly looked into those a while back, and don't quite understand the point of them. I mean, you can book your own vacation to Europe etc. for much cheaper. You basically pay for the Disney name. I don't think there are character interaction or even anything Disney themed on these Adventures by Disney. But I could be wrong! :goodvibes

My headache is from the lack of caffeine, I was in a hurry this AM to get the kids moving and skipped my morning dose, though I had heated up the water in that great Gevalia hot pot!

I think I can counter with caffeinated diet coke, lots of it, right now and I will recover!:lmao:

That's 274.38 per day, plus other food you need........to ride around on a bus and look at the natural beauty....... we can do that in our minivan.:rotfl2:

yep! Told you! It's crazy really. The Disney cruise seems expensive when you first look at it, but then once you are on it, you don't really feel like it was all that much, and it's truly worth every penny. At least it was for us. We went in the off season somewhat (late April/early May).

Are you willing to try something to get yourself off of all the caffeine? I did it a few years ago and it was one of the best things I did. I started to drink a mix of caffeinated and decaf coffee. After about two weeks, I switched to only decaf. I also switched to decaf cola. Since there still is caffeine in decaf (believe it or not) you will still be drinking caffeine but so much less. You, hopefully, won't get those headaches and other withdrawal symptoms.

YIKES
Which type did you have? DH also had skin cancer last year, two spots "scraped" off, one on his arm still looks terrible, needs a cortisone shot or something, but the one on his face healed very well, not even noticeable. He is a redhead, burns just thinking about going outside.:cool2:

I had basal cell carcinoma. Couldn't believe how deep they cut to get rid of cancer. I am very fair skinned. Burn easily. Didn't really protect myself as a child and teen. Summers were spent working and free time was spent baking in the sun. I am a sunscreen freak right now!

Shhh....the kids aren't here,
so I am having some aerosol whipped creme.
Just the whipped creme. I spray it into my hand
and them 'gulp' .......so yummy.
I do not let the kids do that!

That's a good way to wean yourself off it.
Do you always try to do decaf now (even with a soft drink at dinner or whatever?) I buy all decaf soda, but the tea and coffee are the leaded versions.:surfweb:

I only buy decaf soda, coffee and tea for all of us. Unfortunately, hot cocoa doesn't come that way. I can tell you that they all taste comparable!

THat is what DH has/had, too. He has a big floppy hat, and he has always been militant about the sunscreen. He still gets burned very quickly, and he is always in the sun, coaching the ball team, gettign the field ready, doing home maintanence work.

That is what I was doing this AM, finding sunprotective clothing for him and the kids for our pool and vacation. I got the girls suits with rash guard tops, and DS a 50+sun protective swim shirt. Didn' t have luck with one for DH yet.
