on an actual literary note (not so random)

I just finished reading (well, not while I was racking up posts, before that)
Nicholas Sparks The Choice and it was a tear jerker!

now i'm reminiscing

my first roommate in college was a girl from Erie
her mom was a nurse and her dad a doctor
she enjoyed partying a little bit more than studying
she had to drop out for academic reasons

Why do so many kids do this?

I was already hopelessly in love with DH
and went home every weekend to see him
and never got into the whole partying thing
Plus, I was geeky and actually wanted to learn
and was neurotic about missing class
and I was one of those that likes to sit in the front row, so the prof is sure to see you, in case there is any doubt that you are trying and deserve that A

I'm here. Had to roast marshmellows for the little ones - you know Camp Rock and all :rotfl2:

I thought about a 4 leaf clover (for the 4 of us). Also thought about a quarter moon and star. Any ideas?

We didnt see Camp Rock tonight, but I am SURE it will be repeated endlessly, and the DD's tivo'ed it.

I don't have a tattoo.........little afraid of needles........ but Dbrother has the ying/yang symbol, and Dbrother(different brother) has the BigDog dog (from the store Big Dog), and a friend in HS got tweety on her ankle........when she was about 17........I wonder how it looks today since she would be 40....

Have fun catching up, Padisfam!
tomorrow is a ball tourney for DD12, and DS has a game AFTER that, so I will be at the fields far far away from :surfweb: all day.
You can catch up!:cool1:

Tweety is a great idea! My mom used to call me Tweety when I was little :) I would of course get it somewhere "discreet" :goodvibes

I don't know if I'll ever do it, but I think about the tattoo thing a lot. Who knows, maybe some day!
