My nail girl just called to say she is running behind so I can talk for a little longer :goodvibes

I haven't had my nails done since we moved into this house. And there isn't any need to until the yard is established. Boy, I sure miss it!!

starting diet stinks... the first week is hell..I hear Dory in my head..just keep swimming... :thumbsup2

I was just reading in Elle of the two day diet, you eat whatever you want on one day, then NOTHING but diet soda, tea without sweetener, sugarless gum on the second day, then repeat. Surprisingly, people don't overeat onthe eating day (so says the mag) and lose 2.5 percent of their body weight ina week....... don't think I would do well though.......I would be good on the not eating day until about seven PM, then starvign I would scarf down a pizza or pound size bag of peanut m&ms.......:stir:

WHY oh why can't they make all boys' pants with the adjustable waist thingers in them? :faint:

For that matter, why can't they make shirts with adjustable hemlines?

DS is very skinny and on the tall side of average for a child his age--40 lbs and not quite 42 inches tall. He's got an incredibly long torso which seems to be getting longer by the minute. We bought him some 4t sized shirts for his birthday a few months ago and he's already 'grown' out out of them. They still fit in the chest/shoulders but if he raises his arms, we all get to look at his tummy. :D

Also..I've been wondering if they make fake butts for kids. Seriously. DS has a non-butt, which means his pants fall down all the time because there's nothing there to help keep them up.

My DS had the same trouble as a youngster, so skinny no pants would stay up, and belts were a pain. I am sure he has a cute tummy, enjoy it! My own mom is a seamstress, and she made DS the cutest outfits when he was little... sigh........ good memories!:cool1:

I'll be signing off for now. Have a family gathering tonight and I have to start getting myself ready. This was a lot of fun! I look forward to seeing you all later or tomorrow.:woohoo:

see you later harasw.......look for the light!

What was your favorite candy as a kid (or now)??
I love Lemonheads made by FerraPan or something like that.......also Gobstoppers (willy wonka)

and Take 5 candy bars are my absolute fav.....YUM YUM:yay:

I'll be on the look out in case those are Disney park days :thumbsup2

We will be easy to spot...... I like to deck the family out in matching shirts... we have tie dye mickeys, swirly orange and yellow mickeys, and we will soon have red "thing 1-5" shirts. DH is such a good sport!:3dglasses :cool2: :rolleyes1

Guess I am back to talking to myself and quoting ghost DISers from hours ago.....
Time for me to head to the ballfield anyway.......
I'll look for you guys when I get home!
