Random loss of sound??

Has anyone else just randomally lost sound while playing VMK? At first I thought it was my mobo but if i click on other non VMK things their sounds still work. The sound wont come back until i log out and back into VMK. Am I the only one?

nope, unlike Tigger you're not the only one! happens to me all the time. i try to play fireworks right away so i can hear the explosions and the music.

Happens to me all the time. It amazes how much the sound adds to it. It's so boring without sound.

I dont really notice..but that is because i dont have a speaker plugged in

This sounds like a weird thing.Vmk losing sound?Sound is very important in this game especially when u get messages.Trust me,i know.

I played fireworks at the weekend, where the music just vanished. I had the firework noises, just no music. It was weird enough to put me off, and I ended up missing a load of fireworks!

Happened to me last night in pirates. The sound eventually came back after a couple of games but it sure threw my game off.

there is sound in vmk wow. must of turned them off during those wonderful beta days

I cannot even imagine not hearing the sounds in the Elephant's Bathing Pool or the Sci-Fi, I like to sit in some rooms just to hear the music.
