and I love it when grandma cooks for us.....(or anyone cooks for us, actually)

Ya, I'm the eat out queen..... I dislike cooking more then anything I can think of!

Home cooked meals are heavenly, and I won't turn them down.
I'm going to my mom's for MORE corn beef on Tuesday.

How are your Grandparents doing?

They are doing well. Gram really needed the diversion of our visit.
She said Pap is not listening to her and she was ready to leave home.

She harps on him constantly...Pap, put your sweater on....Pap, did you hear what DD10 said?.....Pap, don't nap now, we have company...

She needed some groceries, and we ALL decided to go
(yes, I do need a lobotomy)

It actually wasn't too bad at the store, Pap waited in the van with DS
but it was good for him to get out and people watch

Pap is very frail, DS and I helped him into my van, but he walked pretty well.

Gram says he won't do the exercises he is supposed to do...
and if he doesn't do them he won't get to drive

He looks great though, his color has returned
he converses, he CAN move around if he chooses to
and he is excellent at tuning Gram out, after years of practice!

Gram gave me the "most patient" award

She said she was going to ask my brother, aka MeanTalker
to take her to the store
but she knew I would be much more patient than he is

she is right
and the DD's entertained and danced around the store
and sang commerical jingles
and recommended brands

we are quite a treat to shop with

since we had leftovers from the steakhouse
and DH cooked pork marsala on Friday night

except today
DS at EVERYTHING we had as "leftovers"
and McDonalds
and Pizza Hut at Target (we stopped at Target at his request, he needed stuff for the MORP this weekend)

It is great, Kimmy! I love it! I was born at 3:30 AM and last year I set my alarm to wake up at that time. I was really tired and it wasn't too exciting so I don't think I am going to do that this year.
