okay
time to put the jammies back on

I just had to dig a nasty splinter out of the crack on my little finger
I thought it was just a line of dirt in the crack
until it didn't get clean soaking
and it started to hurt
like a splinter
but all is well again

the DD's got drafted onto the softball team that won every game last year
the coach is a manly female (trying to be politically correct here)
who really loves to win

DH is very happy
they drafted well, apparently

Wohoo! Go was40 DD's!

the chocolate chip bag said 8-9 minutes
but I have discovered that they are perfect at six minutes

not too brown
not crispy
we don't like crispy

one dozen already gone
not even allowed to cool

isn't it weird that sometimes certain things take longer to cook than said on the package or recipe.

She was at a sleepover last night
part of the reason she is so unreasonable today


first, no chinese for lunch
switch to McD's
and she doesn't like McD's
doesn't want ANYTHING
(works for me, actually, cheaper dining!)

then I make cookies
and she complains
WHy do you make chocolate chip?
I say, Ummmm becasue we love chocolate chip???

and she says
I dont. I hate chocolate chip. I hate cookies.


Good, more for the rest of us, they are going fast even without her eating any.

I think it is just about her bedtime!

and she said, "Why are you baking them then?"

a dozen or two poofs at the was40 house

I think it made five dozen
there are about three dozen left....
when DS gets home from the dance

cookie scoop
after she enjoyed an afternoon with my daughters

enjoyed, really,
my girls are chatty
and she had a delightful afternoon with them
this was years ago
it came in the mail
a surprise for all of us
