I told DS he got to 'splain it to his dad
which he forgot to do
and so did I
(hey, that happened on Monday, who can remember?)

and someone mentioned that they thought it was funny
at church

who was about it


luckily
he also thought it was hilarious
though he did give DS a raised eyebrow

he told me later
h is glad DS enjoys school enough to do a prank (harmless)
since he has always been such a rule follower

Did you already know about the school closing last night? I was hoping you and Cole had a chance to sleep in.

It's very dark and dreary outside today. We're expecting rain - it's been drizzling on and off this morning.

Melissa Rycroft may not be engaged to 'The Bachelor' star Jason Mesnick, but at least she gets to continue her 15 minutes of fame.
Sources tell PEOPLE that the 'Bachelor' finalist, who was proposed to and then dumped on national TV, will take Nancy O'Dell's spot on 'Dancing With the Stars.'
O'Dell, along with Jewel, pulled out of the ballroom competition due to injuries. Jewel is expected to be replaced by Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend and 'Girls Next Door' star.

Vegas was a blast! We arrived within 10 minutes of each other on Friday afternoon to beautiful blue skies. The original plan was to stay at the MGM Grand since I have free rooms there however, I wanted to surprise the girls and decided to get us rooms at the Venetian. Don't worry, I got an amazing deal!!
It was totally worth it too, we LOVED our time there. Friday night we went out and walked the strip while drinking delicious drinks. We ended up not getting back to the room until about 2AM (that is 5AM in my head). Saturday we slept in (no kidding, right?) got up and had some lunch and strolled around the Venetian for a while. Did some shopping, went back to the room to clean up and headed out for our Dinner reservation. Had an amazing Dinner at Mandalay Bay then headed over to the MGM Grand to do some gambling. Met some fun people from California and hung out in the lounge there for a while with our new friends. Grabbed a cab and arrived back to the Venetian at around 3AM (upping a bit ) I requested a late check out so we could actually get some rest. We were up and ready to go by 1pm, we went and had some lunch at one of my favorite places at Caesars Palace then headed back to the Venetian to grab our luggage and head out. It was the fastest weekend of my life! I think it took me longer to write this then the weekend lasted
