the discussion on bacon had me thinking of our trip...

Can you get Milo in the States (granular, not premade)? If so do you know where it's made? In the UK the only Milo we could get was made in Nigeria (aparently besides us over here they are one of the few nations that manufacture it) and it tasted different. Normally I don't carry food overseas but Milo is needed for our kids medication, it's the only thing they'll take it in and must have the meds. Does anyone know? Am I going to be declaring bags of Milo for our three week visit?

I'd just take the Milo with you. As you go through it, the finished tins out of your suitcase will just free up room for shopping :cool1:

Found this on Wikipedia for Milo (drink)

In the United States, Nestle USA markets Milo. In 2010, canned ready to drink Milo from Malaysia could be found in Target stores as well as a variety of local grocery stores. The powdered variety can also be found in some stores.

Thanks Aussietravellers - I'll start buying a few bags up a couple of months prior. I don't want a situation where I can't get their meds into something (although the meds are lemon/lime and they love it in Milo.BLERK!)

When we arrived in the US in Sept, we declared chocolate, manuka honey and cereal bars. They didn't seem very interested in it at all. No one wanted to see it, or even questioned us about it.
