Random DL Half Registration ??

Ok, so I'm definitely going for the Coast to Coast in 2011.

For those who have done these things before... Will they have DL Half registration at the Marathon Weekend Expo? Or should I just do it online after it opens?

I know that reg opens on January 3rd this time around. Don't know about reg at the expo though. I know I registered for the WDW Marathon at the RNR San Diego expo, so they might. But you can always do it online when it opens!

Yeah, I knew it opened on 1/3. I was just curious if I could wait until the 7th and do it in person. I mean, based on the registration for the WDW Marathon Weekend and the Princess it's not like it will sell out in 8 hours a la Boston - so I was curious if it's offered at the expo.

The DL half will definitely not sell out before the marathon expo. I would bring your checkbook just in case they do offer registration and if they don't just register after you get home or back to your computer at the hotel.

The first time I have ever heard of Disney offering registration at an expo was this year and that might be because of how slowly the race was filling.

If they do offer registration at the expo I hope they either offer a discount or some free item like they did in Phily. It is better to reward the people who register early then those that wait until late.

I know at DL 1/2, they offered no active fees for Jan WDW races. For the Goofy, that would have been over a $30 savings.

That's my main reason for hoping they have registration at the expo. Those darn service fees!
